What to Expect & What to Bring

First off, let us say thank you for choosing Caldwell Dental Care.  We know you have a number of options when it comes to your dental care and it means a great deal that you have entrusted us to take care of you and your family.

Below is some information to help on your first visit and welcome you to our practice.

What to Expect

We understand that going to the Dentist can be an overwhelming experience, especially for first time visitors. We will make you visit as comfortable as possible and walk you through each step along the way.

The dentist will perform a complete oral examination and discuss any treatments you may need. The examination can identify conditions such as tooth decay, periodontal disease and even oral cancer.

Teeth cleaning may be performed during your first visit, or might be rescheduled for a follow-up visit depending time allocated and on the condition of your teeth and gums. Your first appointment will take between 1-1 1/2 hours. Patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent.

What to Bring

Be prepared to arrive about 15 minutes early to fill out medical history, any medication you might be taking, your dental history an any dental insurance coverage you may have.
